A small group of select individuals was invited to Los Angeles to be among the first to try the new Nike+ Training and Nike+ Basketball experiences on 6.22, a full week before the product drops in retail on 6.29.

The first stop was at The Vault, a premium Nike retail and customization space located at the Staples Center where Ricky Engelberg, Experience Director for Digital Sport at Nike, introduced the new Nike+ gear.

The guests were then escorted to front row seats in the LA Live square for a performance by Schoolboy Q and the Nike+ Basketball Dunk Contest hosted by Kenny Smith, a retired NBA point guard who is now a basketball analyst for TNT.

Justin Darlington, aka Jus Fly, won the contest with a cartwheel, between the legs dunk. Jus Fly's vertical leap for the winning dunk was measured at 42.3 inches by the Nike+ Basketball system.
